Patty Jenkins is taking on Wonder Woman 2 and we have some things we’d like to see

Wonder Woman 2 may be getting the Patty Jenkins touch but we’re looking at a few things we hope to see from the sequel! Including Steve Trevor.

Now that Patty Jenkins is officially confirmed as directing the Wonder Woman sequel, I thought it’d be interesting to look at what we actually want from the follow up film. For many, Wonder Woman changed the way we look at female led action films as well as superheroes in general.

She single-handedly saved the DCEU and continues to do so as it seems as if they’re switching the focal point of all DCEU to be more Diana Prince centric. So what does that mean for the next movie? What do we want to see?

The switch in Diana

In the first movie, she is a very different Diana then we see in Batman V. Superman. She is naïve and more willing to accept man and his faults in Wonder Woman but in BvS, Diana is much more reserved and unwilling to really help the world of man at first.

So what was the change? At the end of Wonder Woman, she was still a bit hopeful. So will Patty Jenkins show us what happens even more to Diana to make her the Wonder Woman we see when she’s with the Justice League?

Diana Prince carrying Steve Trevor like a bride

I don’t care if it is his dead body or if Steve Trevor comes back to life and is like “I love you, Diana. Carry me over the threshold of life” or whatever cheesy thing it could be. I want him to be flying around with her and I want her to carry him like a bride.

Granted, I know he died in the first film but if you know the Wonder Woman comics, Steve Trevor isn’t dead. Will it be the Flash that brings him back or will the gods have a hand in it? Who knows but still, I want him back and I want Diana holding him.

More of what we love about Diana

With many sequels, we get a little bit too excited about storyline and often our favorite heroes are just shells of the characters we know and love. So what do I want out of Wonder Woman 2? I want to see Diana grow but I also don’t want her to completely change her character. I just want more Diana Prince in my life, is that too much to ask?
