The Smarty Paws leashes are giving your dog a voice. With the cute sayings on the leashes, your dog’s true personality will come out loud and clear.

Have you ever wondered what your dog is thinking? Well, we don’t have that technology yet. But the company Smarty Paws wants its new leashes to give your dogs a voice.

Sure, we may not be able to hear our dogs or know what’s on their minds when we’re walking them, but all dog owners know that our furry friends have definite, distinct personalities. Smarty Paws wants their leashes to help those personalities shine through.

Eight dogs started Smarty Paws so that their voices could be heard and their attitudes could come out.

They felt “it was about time we were recognized for our different attitudes. We told our humans we wanted the leashes to speak our minds – like their T-shirts.”

So Max, Shag, Bella, Doogie, Sandie, Toby, Annie, and Pasha each came out with a leash that reflected their personalities. Pasha’s leash, for example, says, “Ignore The Squirrel… Seriously?” in big, bold letters.

“Ignore The Squirrel… Seriously? They drive me crazy! Chasing them is my favorite thing in the world!” Pasha says on the website.

Does your dog love the camera? Well, now the world can know when you use the “Open To Selfies With You!” leash. The leashes could even land you a date with the “My Mom’s Single!” and “My Dad’s Single!” leashes.

Other leashes read: “I’m The One In Charge!,” “Obedience School Dropout!,” “Rescued Dogs Rule!” and “Who’s Walking Who?”

Now the outside world can see what dogs really feel when they’re out going for walks with their people.

“Dogs are smart,” Smarty Paws’ Marnie Tenden said in an emailed press release. “And smart dog owners who have ‘conversations’ with their dogs, and translate their thoughts and attitudes to other humans, now have a fun and easy way to have their dog do the talking. Proud dog owners can now give their dog a voice!”

The leashes come in red or black and have the cute sayings embroidered in silver on them. They also sell Smarty Paws collars. The best part? Part of the sales go to rescue organizations, and that truly is a great way to give a voice to dogs that need it.
