Taylor Swift is preparing for her comeback and as she begins to get reacquainted with life in the spotlight, she is reportedly concerned about how her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, will respond to the intense attention she will soon be receiving.

According to a new report, Swift and Alwyn’s relationship has been protected from the media for the past several months but now that Swift’s new album is nearing its release date, the couple may be headed for some major changes.

Taylor Swift knows things are about to change for her and Joe Alwyn

“Aside from when she’s been recording, Joe’s had her all to himself since they got together,” a source told OK! Magazine on September 11.

Swift and Alwyn have kept their relationship to themselves for months but, as Swift knows, the release of her new album is bound to change things between them and she is unsure if he will be able to cope with her ongoing appearances, her potential tour, and her time with her fans.

While Alwyn has reportedly assured Swift that he is “in it for the long haul,” she knows that the actor has never experienced this level of fame and hysteria and worries that it will all be too much.

Could they split?

The insider noted that while Swift fears that her relationship with Alwyn is in jeopardy due to her fame, those close to her believe that her past may be influencing her views. As the insider noted, Swift’s confidants say that she’s simply gun shy due to the outcome of her past relationships with the likes of Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, both of which ended in 2016.
