Is Taylor Swift getting the ultimate revenge on Katy Perry?
According to a new report, Perry doesn’t seem to be doing nearly as well as Swift on the career front and when it comes to her Witness Tour, her ticket sales are reportedly plummeting. In fact, fans have begun to notice that Perry is now offering her tickets at a discount of up to 50 percent on Groupon.
In addition, a Radar Online report explained, outlets including Stubhub are offering the tickets online for as low as just $9.00.
Perry’s tour kicks off on September 19, 2017 and will continue until August of next year.
Katy Perry started off the year in a good place
Earlier this year, Perry scored two major gigs: a judging role on the reboot of American Idol and a hosting role on the MTV Video Music Awards. However, according to Radar Online, American Idol producers weren’t happy to see how “awkward” Perry was during the VMAs and are now said to be in a panic over how she’ll do as a judge on their show.
As Radar Online’s insider explained, ABC is paying Perry a whopping $25 million to star on the American Idol reboot as a judge and after seeing her VMA performance, they are freaking out about the possibility of having hired a dud.
Katy Perry was reportedly targeted by Taylor Swift on ‘Reputation’
While Swift’s new album won’t be released until November, her first single, “Look What You Made Me Do,” reportedly took aim at Perry during a scene involving a car accident. As fans may have noticed, Swift appeared to be dressed like Perry as she taunted her with one of her many Grammy Awards.
