George Clooney is friends with Obama and yes, we’re jealous

As if we didn’t miss Barack Obama enough, now we’re having to deal with him and George Clooney being friends. And they even text each other.

George Clooney makes a lot of people jealous. From his ruggedly handsome face to his intelligent lawyer wife, he seems to have everything a man could hope for. Oh and he’s friends with President Obama. Did I mention that?

That’s right, ever want to text the president and see how he’s doing? Beg him to come back? Well Clooney can. In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, George opened up about whether or not he got a bit racy with the former president.

"A little bit. Not Scaramucci-racy, but … you know, I have over the years with my friends said a lot of really [outrageous things]. I’ve had an email exchange with Sacha Baron Cohen that’s some of the filthiest stuff, honestly. Amal will be on the chain and she’ll be upstairs and I’ll hear her scream, ‘No!’ because it’s just foul, and you think, ‘Well, that would probably not be great if it came out.’"

Now here’s the thing: why can’t we all just have an email chain with a bunch of celebrities? It’s more than that though, most of us just want to talk to Obama. One of the most beloved presidents, Barack Obama was also one of the coolest.

Truth be told, I’m going to miss his Halloween videos with Michelle at the White House. You think Clooney can text him and ask him to record himself greeting Trick-or-Treaters at his home? Just to make us feel better?
