Taylor Swift attended her best friend Abigail Anderson’s wedding over the weekend and during the reception, which took place at Martha’s Vineyard on Saturday, September 2, she delivered a hilariously raunchy speech.

As Hollywood Life revealed on September 5, Swift chose to recount an awkward moment with her friend and fellow guests that seemed to hint at the newlywed’s past sexual encounter in a bathroom.

“She’s running after him, there’s falling, there’s stumbling. They make it to the bathroom and I hear sounds that I can never un-hear,” Swift said as guests erupted with laughter. “And then, there’s silence. And then…”

Taylor Swift’s speech was a hit

While some may have suspected that Anderson and her new husband Matt would have been embarrassed by Swift’s speech, it was actually quite hilarious and everyone, including the newly married couple, appeared to be quite amused.

Taylor Swift’s outing comes on the heels of her new song’s release

Swift has been keeping a low profile in recent months as she puts the finishing touches on her new album, Reputation, which is due to hit stores on November 10, but over the weekend, she didn’t hesitate to step out for her longtime friend’s wedding.

At the end of August, Swift caused a stir with her controversial new song, “Look What You Made Me Do” and over the weekend, she released the second song off her sixth studio album, “Ready For It,” which is believed to be inspired by her boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
