Taylor Swift Dethrones Herself On iTunes Charts

It’s safe to say that only Taylor Swift can dethrone Taylor Swift on the iTunes charts, which is exactly what she just did.

Not even a full month into the reputation era, Swift has released two tracks from the album and both sit comfortably at the top of the iTunes charts. Her newly released track “.Ready For It?” hit the No.1 spot as of 11:50 AM ET according to Headline Planet. “Look What You Made Me Do” sits at No.2.

A sneak peek of the track was released on Saturday night during the Alabama vs. Florida State college football game. It was then formally released on Sunday morning around 8 am ET and is now receiving a ton of attention at radio.

While “.Ready For It?” has been released to radio and is already expected to break records, the track is not identified as a single but a promo track for the album. “Look What You Made Me Do” is the first official single from her sixth studio album reputation.

The first single has been dominant on the charts and has broken many records until the emergence of “.Ready For It?” Yes, it really did take a Taylor Swift song to dethrone a Taylor Swift song. If all the songs are this good on reputation, are we really ready for it?
