Do you have your ticket? Your books? Parchment and quills? Your animal of choice? Good.

Because it’s time for another year at Hogwarts! No matter what year you’re in, if you’re a repeater, or graduated to Harry Potter “Teaching Edition”, or “Hogwarts: Grad School”, we’ll all be meeting on Platform 9 3/4 tomorrow!

It’s been a difficult summer, as has been pointed out, but Harry Potter and Hogwarts has always been the light of the Harry Potters. When war raged and things seemed to be going from bad to worse for Harry, he could count on Hogwarts to be there for him.

Who else remembers when the horrible Sirius Black roamed free from Azkaban? Times were safe, even then. Despite those awful dementors. (Don’t worry, I’ve heard tell they’ll never let them back on school grounds.)

I know that times are tough for everyone, and I know that sometimes it’s hard to get up in the morning and face the day. But just remember that at Hogwarts, you can be amongst friends who love you dearly.

Book List!

Now, it wouldn’t be school without a few book recommendations! For those who like to read about older times, I suggest the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them book (it is required reading at Hogwarts, no matter who your parents are. *That means you Potters and Weasleys*You may also like to peruse this book we found that seems awfully true of our lives,

You may also like to pursue the books by JK Rowling, Melissa Anelli, John Green, and Maureen Johnson.

And if by chance you’ve left Hogwarts to roam in a police box, or solve mysteries in Victorian London, or go across the United States in an Impala, just remember, Hogwarts always welcomes you back in the end.

Welcome back to Hogwarts, Wizards! (And for some light listening…)
