Selena Gomez Is Excited About Taylor Swift’s ‘Reputation’

Like the rest of us, Selena Gomez can’t wait to hear the rest of Taylor Swift’s new album, Reputation.

Just after the singer released the first song off her sixth studio album, her longtime best friend, who is also said to be working on a new album, is said to be quite excited to hear what Swift has in store for her millions of fans.

“Selena is as excited as any fan with anticipation for Taylor’s new song to debut and for her upcoming album,” a source close to Gomez told Hollywood Life on August 24. “Selena is looking forward to Taylor getting a lot off her chest with her new music. Selena knows that nobody can write better than Taylor, and she wonders if Tay will be defending her reputation on the album.”

Gomez and Swift have been friends for years and while they haven’t been seen together recently, they’ve been known to support one another throughout their careers.

In May, just months after Gomez debuted her new relationship with The Weeknd, Swift was caught spending time with her new boyfriend Joe Alwyn. However, while Gomez has been open with her special moments with the “Starboy” singer, Swift has been keeping her relationship on the down low.

While the were both nominated for awards during Sunday night’s show, Gomez and Swift both steered clear of the event, which was held at Los Angeles’ The Forum.
