The Heathers TV spot is here and get ready, it’s killer

Heathers has become a cult classic. From the original movie to a musical, we can’t get enough. And now there is going to be a TV show too!

Heathers is the cult classic we all saw and wanted to be a part of. Whether you were a Heather or you were Veronica, there was something to love in the movie. So much so that they made a hit off-Broadway show based on it.

That right there should be enough, right? A hit show and a cult classic film? Well, it isn’t really. Why? Because now we’re getting a Heathers TV show. And if you aren’t excited by the prospect of is, just watch this teaser to get you in the mood!

Now here’s the first thing that’s awesome: One of the Heathers is a guy. I know for many they’d be upset but again, the Heathers are more diverse in this rendition than ever before. Veronica seems just as angry as ever, and we even have a mini-Christian Slater as their J.D.

One of my personal favorite playwrights and directors, Leslye Headland, is bringing to life the classic we know with a bit of a modernization. Or at least, that’s what this trailer seems to tell us.

Everything is still pretty hush hush since the show doesn’t actually come out until 2018. Which is a bit upsetting since this trailer has only made me more excited for what is to come with the series! Heathers is just one of those movies that we can revisit time and time again and it never loses its charm!
