It’s pretty early to start thinking about season 8 of Game of Thrones. We’re going to do it anyway and make five predictions about where the season’s going.

Warning: Game of Thrones‘ season 7 finale aired last night. “The Dragon and the Wolf” got wild! We’re using it to inform our predictions here.

Well, we’ve reached the end of Game of Thrones season 7. If you’ve been following along with us all season, you know that every Monday morning, we’ve been previewing the episode to come with a mix of analysis and good old-fashioned spoilers.

Since we’re now into a season that hasn’t even started shooting yet, one would think that we’ve officially reached the end of our spoiler-filled road. This would mostly be accurate. We say mostly because we think we have one more thing that’s possibly going to happen that we might have seen floating around the Internet already. Stay tuned for that one.

Admittedly, my last year’s round of early next-season predictions had one big hole shot in them. Thanks for falling for Jon Snow, Daenerys. Really appreciate that. On a few more, I think I might have been a little early … but let’s see what we can come up with.
