Last night, August 24, Taylor Swift released the lead single from her sixth studio album Reputation. Guess what? It’s already making history.
For everyone who thought Swift wasn’t going to let her voice be heard ever again, you were wrong. The singer-songwriter is back in full force and she doesn’t care what you think. But it’s apparent that even those who say they hate her can’t stop listening to “Look What You Made Me Do”.
How do we know? The song has already made history and it hasn’t even been 24 hours. Her lyric video for the song has surpassed 13 million views on YouTube and the song is the fastest selling song by a woman who has hit No.1 on the U.S. iTunes. It’s also outselling its nearest competition at a rate of 15:1 in the US, also the biggest lead in at 95%.

Needless to say, move over haters. You didn’t want her to come back but guess what? She is and she’s about to take over the world once again. She isn’t afraid anymore. This time around, Swift is taking back the narrative and proving that she is stronger than ever before. What a powerful anthem. Don’t you think?
