Taylor Swift may have been busy for months creating her new album, Reputation, but luckily, she was able to balance her busy professional life with her personal life with boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

According to a new report, Swift and Alwyn have been able to maintain their romance with one another, despite their hectic schedules — and the fact that they are often on different continents.

“Taylor [Swift]‘s been working around the clock on this album all summer, but she still managed to make time for romance with Joe [Alwyn],” a source told Hollywood Life on August 24.

As Swift prepares for her album release, Alwyn is in his home country working on an upcoming film.

“He’s back in the UK right now shooting a movie, but at the start of the summer, he was in Nashville with her and she went above and beyond to make sure they had quality time together,” the insider explained. “She’d get up at 5am so they could work out together and when her long day in the studio was done, he’d be at home waiting for her.”

According to the report, the answer is “yes.” However, the lyrics may be far from obvious.

“She writes about her life and her feelings, so there’s a piece of him in this album, but she’s made sure to keep it very well disguised,” the insider said. “She learned her lesson the hard way and doesn’t want anything to jeopardize her relationship with Joe.”
