What if movie Harry Potter actually looked like book Harry Potter?

I know it is controversial because we all grew up loving Daniel Radcliffe but what if movie Harry actually looked like Harry Potter?

Harry Potter had a very specific look in the books. Wild black hair, taller, skinny, and with green eyes that were just like his mother’s. The movie took a bit of a turn on that. Daniel Radcliffe couldn’t wear the contacts so his eyes were blue in the movie.

His hair was pin straight and flat on his head. And he never got very tall. Now in defense of movie Harry, there was one moment where we all had hope that they had finally figured it out. In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry finally looked like the Harry we’d always imagined when we read.

But then Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire went right back to weird hair that wasn’t really Harry and not the look we had hoped for. Now look, I get it, movies have to make changes. That’s normal and we get it. But they had 8 tries and only one movie actually looked like the character. Who was drawn. On the front of the books.

Like, his picture is everywhere? So it’s strange that they didn’t even attempt to make him really look like the Harry Potter we know and love. The play seems to be doing a better job. Making Jamie Parker’s hair a bit crazy and what not. But still, I’d have liked if Harry looked just a little bit more like the book version.
