Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode are coming to a TV set near you

There are still good things in this world and most of them have to do with Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer coming to our television sets.

Ever wish you could have seen Matthew Goode play a vampire? Well, all your prayers are being answered. A Discovery of Witches has announced their leads and they’re pretty juicy. Get it? Because he’s a vampire?

Anyway, it seems as if The Choice actress Teresa Palmer will be taking on the role of Diana Bishop in the TV program. Based on the books by Deborah Harkness, Sky is set on turning the novel into a television series.

Playing their Matthew Clairmont? Well, Matthew Goode will be tackling that role! And honestly, we couldn’t be more excited. Teresa Palmer is incredible and really, who doesn’t love Matthew Goode?

If you don’t remember Goode, he’s the striking man who took Mary Crawley’s heart in Downton Abbey. He also made us realize heartbreak in A Single Man. Or he won over Amy Adams in Leap Year. And then there’s Watchmen…Basically he’s everywhere and we love it!

Production on A Discovery of Witches is set to begin next month. So while the details are still a bit fuzzy, this news at least gives us time to go out and read the novel before it airs. Or if you’re not the kind to do that, you get to go and watch everything Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode have done in preparation of what’s to come.
