Taylor Swift appears to have made a habit of teasing fans on Twitter every day at 10:00 a.m.
On Monday, August 21, after deleting every post on her page just days prior, the 27-year-old singer shared a short clip of a snake, which appeared to have a “25” visible in its scales. One day later, another snake video appeared on her Twitter page and this time, the number “8” was seen in its scales.
A short time later, fans convinced themselves that the numbers were a confirmation of the upcoming release of her new single, which will reportedly take place on August 25 — aka “8” “25.”
Then, on Wednesday, August 23, Swift posted another message at 10:00 a.m., which can be seen below.
Taylor Swift took a step back from the spotlight last year
Following a couple of highly-publicized relationships and a dramatic feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Swift opted to step back from the spotlight as she focused on her new album in private.
She also embarked on a new romance with actor Joe Alwyn and despite having been dating for the past several months, they’ve been seen together publicly just a handful of times.
When will Taylor Swift’s sixth studio album be released?
Although the singer has remained silent in regard to the topic, a report earlier this year claimed the complication would be available by sometime this fall.
“She’s aiming to release an album this fall,” a source told Us Weekly magazine in May. “She’s continuing down the pop route because 1989 was a huge success and fans really gravitated toward that album. She knows there’s a demand for a new album and has really started focusing on making that happen for fans. She’s just excited to get back out there.”
What does the time of 10:00 a.m. mean for Swift’s new music? Could it represent an October 2017 album release? Weigh in below!
