Erik Finman, a bitcoin millionaire, is currently in the works on a project with NASA that could soon launch Taylor Swift’s music into space.

According to a new report, Finman hopes to launch a mini satellite into space which will include the recordings of several people, including top music artists like Swift.

“The launch is in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Carl Sagan’s Golden Record sent onboard Voyager in 1977. Sagan is a personal hero of Finman’s and he says he wanted to do something akin to the Golden Record to remind us about this time in world history,” Tech Crunch revealed to readers on August 17.

Erik Finman hopes to change the world

“Since almost everyone has a camera and an internet connection, we can now represent the world in a whole new way and showcase how the United States has changed since 40 years ago.” Finman said.

Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ will be included in the project

As Tech Crunch explained to readers, Swift’s ‘1989’ is expected to head up into the stars sometime in early 2018 along with other media submitted by 196 countries around the globe.

‘1989’ is Swift’s fifth studio album and her latest release. As fans will recall, Swift steadily released new music every two years until 2016, when fans were left disappointed by the lack of music from Swift.

As for when Swift’s new music will be released, Swift hasn’t confirmed anything quite yet but when it comes to the latest reports, she is expected to give fans something by the end of this year.
