Lancelot at Animal Ark in Hastings, Minnesota
Ser Lancelot was first introduced in Thomas Malory’s Le Morte d’Arthur as the bravest and best knight of the round table. He was also super slick; he seduced Queen Guinevere right out from under King Arthur’s nose. In almost every incarnation of the Arthur story that’s hit the television or movie screen, Lancelot has been incredibly handsome and usually, very, very kind. An instant fave. And his love story with Guinevere is one of the most painful and complicated in history. Still, Lancelot is the kind of guy you can’t help but root for, even against a painfully good character like Arthur.
Now meet Lancelot, the handsome, brave, elegant mixed-breed domestic longhair cat waiting for a furever home in Minnesota. According to his adoption page, he was found outside surviving on his own, and now he wants to be pampered. Don’t we all?
Like his namesake, Lancelot does well with other cats, though there’s no word on dogs. Perhaps you can start a round table of your own? Dress everyone up and take lots of photos. The Internet would love it.
Lancelot is also very easy-going, which makes him a great fit for almost any home. It’s safe to assume he’s neutered, since he’s living at a shelter, but don’t assume this lady’s man won’t immediately charm the fur off any lady cats you’ve already got at home.
If you’d like to adopt Lancelot, see the shelter information below.
