Yoda at Nevada Humane Society Washoe County in Reno, Nevada
Quiet and calm, Yoda is. To spoil you, she likes. In Reno, she is. Meow, meow, meow.
As you can see from her photo, Yoda is a white and black cat with a very expressive face (is that an eyebrow raise?) and some mostly hidden, but obviously adorable toe beans. Her spots make her look particularly engaged, and her ears are tipped and fuzzy just like her namesake’s.
Yoda is about 10 years old and she has been at the Washoe County chapter of the Nevada Humane Society for about a week. Like her namesake, Yoda has wise old eyes and a penetrating stare. She could probably hold her own in a light saber fight, too. Opposable thumbs? Who needs them?
Yoda is quiet, but affectionate with her person. According to her adoption page, she is completely devoted and just wants to spoil whichever human bonds with her. Her loving ways make her an ideal candidate for anyone looking to adopt, and her name implies a wisdom beyond her years.
Whether or not you’re a Star Wars fan, you must know how important Yoda’s guidance was for Luke. He was a great teacher and a powerful master of the force; likewise, Yoda the cat can teach you all the ways of being affectionate with an animal, and help you master whatever comes your way.
