Before we even get started: look at that nose. And those eyes! Swayze is a beautiful, brown, labrador mix with a heart of gold. Just like her namesake, we can’t take our eyes off of her. It’s been eight years since we lost Patrick Swayze after he danced and charmed his way into our hearts, and we miss him. But Swayze’s here to love you unconditionally, even when you’re sad.

Swayze is a juvenile dog of about four and a half years old who really, really, really loves humans. She’s not into other dogs or cats — she wants all of the attention, and she deserves it! — but she dotes on human companions. Like her namesake, she’s incredibly charming. According to her adoption page, she’s also “friendly and whip-smart.”

You may not be able to train Swayze to do the tango, but you can take her for walks on a leash, take her for car rides, go swimming with her, and spend hours in the yard throwing tennis balls for her to chase. She sits on command and knows her basic house manners. This healthy, beautiful baby is eager to find her furever home and have the time of her life.
