Thor at Aurora Animal Shelter in Aurora, Colorado
It’s not super likely that this Thor and Loki from the previous slide are brothers, but you never know. Anyway, Thor himself is like a big, loveable puppy. At least, that’s how Chris Hemsworth plays him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor is a legendary god whose worth is proven every time he picks up Mjolnir, which is a very fancy way of saying that he’s a very good boy.
So it makes sense that a dog would be named after Thor, since all dogs are good dogs. This brown brindle boxer mix is less than a year old and currently resides at the Aurora Animal Shelter in Colorado, where he’s waiting patiently for his furever home! He’s very energetic — much like his namesake — and needs a home that will provide him with lots of activities. He also needs a little training, but so did the god Thor when he first came to Earth. Perspective, and all.
According to his adoption page, Thor is very affectionate and sweet. It’s impossible not to fall in love with him. With a face like that, how could you not? He’s one of many dogs hoping to find a family in the Clear the Shelters event this weekend, and it’s obvious he’ll make a great addition to any home.
Just make sure you don’t give him any cube toys. It’s definitely better to be safe than sorry.
