The stunt doubles for Elektra and Black Widow posted a fight scene online. It’s all kinds of fantastic and the closest we’ll get to anything crossing over.
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe has exploded and expanded more than our wildest desires since 2008, we fans have called for a lot of things.
Some of them aren’t exactly unreasonable, like the movies and TV series crossing over. Or Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow getting her own solo movie.
So far, neither of these things have happened. And they seem like fairly easy things to accomplish.
Thankfully, we have someone who took it upon themselves to make our dreams a reality.
Lauren Mary Kim and Amy Johnston, stunt doubles for Elodie Yung’s Elektra and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow respectively, face off against each other in the below video. Needless to say, it is quite badass.
This is pretty fantastic. The choreography is incredible (and done by Tsuyoshi Abe, who was also Wong’s double in Doctor Strange) and the pacing never slows.
It’s as close as we will ever get to seeing Elektra and Black Widow face off against each other. Mainly because if the ABC shows aren’t going to cross with the cinematic universe, the Netflix shows certainly aren’t. So we can’t expect Elektra to be showing up in Avengers: Infinity War.
But wouldn’t it be so awesome if they did? If, somehow, The Defenders ended with Elektra on the run, having mysteriously disappeared, and somehow she gets dragged into the thick of Infinity War. Not even on Thanos’s side, but doing her own thing against the Avengers? “I’ll take care of this one,” Black Widow says to Hawkeye as she stalks off toward Elektra.
And then that fight above ensues.

It won’t happen—not unless Marvel has really kept this under wraps. But for now, Lauren Mary Kim and Amy Johnston gave us a glimpse of what could have been.
