Any and all of the side characters coming together

One strength of all of the Netflix shows has been their supporting characters. Foggy, Karen, Jeri Hogarth, Trish, Will (he’s not dead, right?), Colleen Wing, and Misty Knight all made their marks in their respective shows.

So to see these people come together and interact when they’re all relatively “in the know” has to be something The Defenders does.

Because it’s been fun up until this point when Jeri Hogarth shows up to represent someone in a different series. Or when a passing comment is made about knowing a lawyer or having a nurse friend.

But we want to see all of them come together and deal with their weird, super-powered friends. Why can’t Foggy and Trish hit it off from the start? He can complain about Matt’s secret life while Trish can roll her eyes and say how she wishes Jessica kept it all a secret.

And what about Misty Knight just rolling her eyes any time Jeri or Foggy starts making lawyer-y comments? How many of these worlds can we mash together?

Let’s also not forget about Stick. He’s bound to play a big role in this one, at least in drawing the Defenders together to take on The Hand.

Personally, we can’t wait to see how Foggy and Matt work together with how strained their relationship was at the end of season two. Will meeting other people affected by super-powered people sway Foggy to mend their relationship? Or will it just drive them further apart?
