Claire Temple’s sass while surrounded by all of the super-powered people she’s encountered
Claire Temple is always a welcome addition in any Marvel Netflix series. When she appeared in Daredevil, producers and writers teased that she would be the thread that binds all of the shows together.
So it was no surprise when she popped up in Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. It’s always exciting to see a familiar face in these shows, and hers is a welcome one. With every subsequent pop-up, she made her way further into this crazy, super-powered world.
She was one of the brighter spots of Iron Fist. As we dealt with Danny’s childish nature regarding his powers, we got to see Claire’s full, angry potential. Because she knows how it is with these people and how things work. It’s not a game.
She’s dealt with the four Defenders separately, and we can’t wait to see how she’ll fare with all of them in the same room. We can surely expect a heck of a lot of eye-rolling and verbal jabs. And definitely comments of “Remember when you tried this before and it didn’t work?”
Claire Temple may not have powers, but she still has a way to get those around her to actually listen. She better have a heck of a time with the Defenders.
