This morning, during an interview on Good Morning America, David Mueller spoke out about his recent trial loss against Taylor Swift.
Just one day after a judge ruled in the favor of Swift due to lack of evidence from Mueller, who suggested the pop star ruined his career by making false claims against him, Mueller participated in an interview with Clayton Sandell.
“I didn’t do what they say I did. I didn’t do it,” Mueller told Sandell in their sit-down interview, via a report by the New York Daily News on August 15. “I never grabbed her. I never had my hand under her skirt, and I can pass a polygraph.”
David Mueller has been ordered to pay Taylor Swift $1
After David Mueller filed a $3 million lawsuit against Swift, Swift countersued the former DJ for $, claiming he grabbed her inappropriately during a concert meet-and-greet in 2013. As fans have surely heard, the incident was captured by a photo and in the photo, Mueller’s hand appeared to be in the area of Swift’s backside.
“I wasn’t ready. I wasn’t invited to be in the photo,” he told Sandell. “I just moved into the shot, best I could.”
Mueller was fired from his job at Denver’s KYGO radio station shortly after the photo was taken.
David Mueller attempted to have Taylor Swift take back her allegations against him
“I asked for something in writing that stated there was a misunderstanding, and I can take that and possibly convince someone at a radio station to hire me,” Mueller said in the interview.
However, Judge William J. Martinez, who oversaw the case, threw Mueller’s case against Swift out and later awarded Swift with the $1 she requested.
“It’s a humiliating experience to be accused of something that despicable,” Mueller told the courtroom last week.
