I found a Harry Potter rock that wasn’t so nice and I have some thoughts

Sometimes, people do something bad to our favorites and when it happens to Harry Potter, I don’t like it. And that’s what this rock was.

I’m visiting family and they all know how much I love Harry Potter. My grandma and my mom found a rock that had a note to take a picture and hide it somewhere else. And I definitely didn’t take a picture of it. Why?

The rock was a painting of Harry Potter with a swastika on his head as his scar and Trump written down his Gryffindor scarf. Hedwig was also featured with a penis drawn on which made me angry because Hedwig is a girl but that was honestly the least of my frustration. It is just blatantly stupid. It made no sense to the message of Harry Potter or to what he stands for.

Was the rock meant to symbolize that Harry would be a Trump supporter? If so, why was there a swastika on his forehead? All of it made no sense. And I was too frustrated to look into why they made it that way.

It shows that this world is filled with people who have no idea what the series represents. They think it’s about this terrible kid who is denouncing God. Nowhere in the series did any of this happen. But it’s why people give Potter a bad rap.

Whatever the purpose of it was, I was upset. It’s not what Rowling created and it’s not what I love and I think things like that need to stop in this world.

Go out there and spread the real message of Harry Potter. Talk about love and the importance of those around you. Bask in what Rowling taught us, not the hate we’re faced with.
