5. Benjen Stark’s going to be back

Benjen Stark helped get one of his nephews back to the Wall in season 6, and who’s to say he’s not going to get a second nephew back to the Wall in season 7? Talk about your echoing in a narrative. It’s almost too perfect. There aren’t many wildlings beyond the Wall anymore after all, and Jon might find that he needs some help. The preview for episode 6 showed that things are going to get particularly hairy up there, and though Jon has knowledge on how to combat White Walkers, his party is comparatively small.

Not for nothing has everyone been calling it an “army of the dead,” emphasis mine. Jon and everyone else could use the assist.

Spoilers:

This time it’s twofold. Joseph Mawle actually was photographed with Kristofer Hivju and Iain Glen, suggesting that the three of them happened to be filming together, and as the latter two are now part of Jon Snow’s Northern Excursion … look, the conclusions practically draw themselves here, and we here at Culturess drew them months ago.

But, if you need some extra evidence, that rumored plot for the entire season also has Benjen making an appearance in this episode. It even appears to include what might very well be the last time we see the only remaining Stark who actually knew Lyanna.
