Here’s when Wonder Woman will be available on digital and Blu-ray
By Buckie Wells
Though this summer’s hit movie is still racking up at the box office, here’s when you’ll be able to watch Wonder Woman from the comfort of your living room.
Wonder Woman just passed $400 million at the box office domestically, has a release date for her sequel and is regarded as one of the best superhero films of all time. Of course, many of us watched her movie multiple times in theaters, but we all know that sometimes going to the theater is a bit of a headache between the unruly kids and any of those folks texting during the movie.
So the time has finally come for her Blu-ray release. Of course, the movie will hit digital streaming platforms first, like OnDemand and iTunes. But if you like boasting about the collection of movies on your shelf, you’ll have to wait an additional couple of weeks for the Blu-ray. At the end of this month (yeah, August, this month), Wonder Woman will be available on digital streaming services. Usually, it’s a tiered release, where the film will be available to buy in either HD or standard definition. Afterward, you can rent it. Then, on Sept. 19. you’ll be able to pick up the Blu-ray if prefer to have a physical copy.
Check out the announcement clip for the release below. It’s pretty nifty.
They really nailed these color-intensive animation sequences, haven’t they? I’m still not over Wonder Woman‘s end credits sequence. Additionally, you can pre-order the movie right here.
Let’s assume the Wonder Woman Blu-ray will contain lots of exciting behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast and crew. Considering the importance of the film and the impact the character has had, it’s sure to be chock full of interesting tidbits. Plus, I really want to see how they put those action sequences together.

If we’re especially lucky, the Blu-ray sleeves will vary by retailers, so it’ll become a bit of a treasure hunt to find the coolest one. Or perhaps the one with exclusive stuff.
Wonder Woman will be available digitally on Aug. 29 and on Blu-ray Sept. 19.
