Taylor Swift took the stand on Thursday morning in Denver during her ongoing case against former DJ David Mueller and during her chat with attorneys, the singer made it clear that she had no doubts that Mueller grabbed her butt.
“It was a definite grab — a very long grab. He stayed latched on to my bare a** cheek as I moved away from him. I was visibly uncomfortable,” Swift said, according to an Us Weekly reporter who was in the courtroom on Thursday. “After this happened it was like a light switched off my personality.”
When asked by an attorney if Mueller touched any other parts of her body, Swift responded, “He was too busy grabbing my a** underneath my skirt, so he didn’t grab it outside my skirt.”
Why didn’t Taylor Swift stop her meet and greet?
“After it happened, I just — in a monotone voice — said ‘thank you’ for coming, and then they were gone,” Swift continued to the court. “Then I went on with the meet-and-greet.”
Then, after Mueller’s attorney told Swift that she could have taken a break after the alleged incident occurred, she responded by pointing out that his client could have taken a normal photo with her and added that she was doing her best to continue with the meet and greet for the sake of her fans.
Was David Mueller intoxicated when the alleged assault occurred?
“I said, ‘That dude just grabbed my a**,’” Swift continued of the moments that followed the reported incident. “He appeared to show signs of someone who had a few cocktails.”
“I am not going to allow you or your client to make it seem like this is in anyway my fault, because it isn’t,” she added. “He did not touch my rib, he did not touch my arm, he did not touch my hand, he grabbed my bare a**.”
