David Mueller is claiming that he never touched the backside of Taylor Swift during a 2013 meet and greet at one of her shows.

In response to Swift‘s lawsuit, which claims sexual assault, the former radio DJ host is accusing the 27-year-old singer of causing him to lose his dream job at 98.5 KYGO and ruining his reputation.

“Mueller absolutely unequivocally denies he put his hand under her skirt and grabbed her bottom or touched her inappropriately,” Mueller’s attorney, Gabe McFarland, said in court, according to a report by Radar Online on August 9.

In Swift’s lawsuit against Mueller, the singer said he “intentionally” grabbed her butt by reaching “under her skirt” as they posed for a photograph. However, while Mueller is suing her for $3 million, she wants just $1 million in damages.

Taylor Swift doesn’t want to cause David Mueller to lose everything

She is “not trying to bankrupt this man,” Swift’s attorney said.

“Mueller has been hurt and wants his good name back and he wants to be fairly compensated for income he lost and ability to earn income in the future,” continued McFarland.

David Mueller is humiliated by the allegations against him

Following the alleged incident in 2013, Swift’s bodyguard booted Mueller and his then-girlfriend from the meet-and-greet and the radio host was fired from his job shortly thereafter. He then filed a suit against Swift and said it was a “humiliating thing to be accused of something that despicable.”

He also said that he hadn’t touched her butt and said that, if anything, he had accidentally touched her “ribcage or ribs.”

If Swift wins her case, the money will be donated to “charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard.”
