4. The Golden Company will arrive to help turn the tide
Cersei mentions that Qyburn is trying to hire the Golden Company for her to Tycho Nestoris. Book readers’ ears (mine included) perked up at that little mention. Whether or not they’ll actually fight for Cersei, though, is another question entirely.
In the books (okay, it’s not filming spoilers, but you might not have read them)…
The Golden Company, as a Wiki of Ice and Fire helpfully reminds us for those who haven’t read the books recently, has a few members that are particularly pertinent, including a man by the name of “Young Griff” who may or may not be Aegon VI Targaryen … Rhaegar Targaryen’s actually legitimate son, and thus someone who would be ahead of Daenerys to claim the throne. He doesn’t have dragons, though.
However, the Golden Company doesn’t necessarily want to fight for Cersei in the books; they are generally more on the Targaryen side of things, though as AWOIAF notes, exactly which Targaryen depends on what point of time you’re talking about.
In other words, the Golden Company might refuse to work for Cersei, but they might land on Westeros anyway. Daenerys has already lost quite a few Unsullied and Dothraki in battle. She could use the help.
