The campers don’t want Beth to sell the camp and so they take to finding their own solution in Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later episode 3.
It wouldn’t be Wet Hot American Summer without some weird twists. From what we learned in the second episode, this season was going to be filled with two presidents trying to blow up the camp. So of course Regan offered Beth 10 million dollars to take Camp Firewood off her hands.
Seems about right for Wet Hot American Summer, right? But more than that, it made the campers bond together to make sure camp didn’t get taken by the evil lawyer of the president (which no one knew). Instead, Katie and Andy go to visit Camp Tigerclaw to see if their friends can help them out.
The problem? Camp Tigerclaw was in on it the entire time! As the episode goes on, we find that Tigerclaw’s Blake was working with Regan and bought Camp Firewood for one hundred thousand dollars so that Beth would still think the spirit of Camp Firewood would stay alive.
Unlucky for her and our favorite campers, they were working with President Regan all along. Now there was also a part in this episode where Lindsay is working on getting a story and it’s supposed to be the greatest break of her career. But we don’t really know what or when we’ll see her story unfold.
But don’t worry, there is plenty of time to still see all our favorites take on Regan and this conspiracy theory! We are, after all, only on episode three. So far, the show is pretty amazing and has me so excited for what’s to come in the rest of Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.
