Throwdown Thursday: Is it too late for Biebs to say sorry?
After a tumultuous few weeks in the headlines, Justin Bieber broke his silence on Instagram on Wednesday night to thank his fans and apologize. Kind of.
The struggle has been real lately for Justin Bieber. The singer’s been in the headlines, and not for very positive reasons.
First there was the whole being banned from China thing a few weeks back — the country said the singer’s years of bad behavior like getting arrested and publicly peeing in buckets don’t align with their goal to “purify the Chinese performance environment.” Then the Biebs announced that due to “unforeseen circumstances” he was pulling out of the last 15 shows of his Purpose World Tour. Fans, understandably, weren’t thrilled about this news.
And then there was the whole thing with his entourage hitting a paparazzo with his truck while he was leaving an event in Beverly Hills. Thankfully the man only suffered minor injuries.
So, yeah, it’s been a rough couple of weeks. And now Justin is speaking out. On Wednesday night, Bieber posted a long Instagram post that thanked fans and expressed regret for his actions (though, to be honest, it’s a little on the vague side).
The message, in part, says:
"I have let my insecurities get the best of me at times. I let my broken relationships dictate the way I acted toward people and the way I treated them! i let bitterness, jealously and fear run my life.!!!! I am extremely blessed to have people in the past few years help me build my character back up reminding me of who I am and who I want to be!!!."

So, is it too late now to say sorry? The Beliebers don’t seem to think so.
