With friendships like Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, it’s hard not to want that for yourself. So we’re looking at why they are the best.

The friendship between Ron Weasley and Harry Potter hasn’t always been easy sailing. The two fought like brothers and, in turn, it made them stronger as friends. Basically for fans of this series, if you wanted friendship goals, you looked no further than the Golden Trio.

After their rough start in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, these three were inseparable and it made us, as fans, long for that kind of friendship. But there was something very special between Harry and Ron.

And now in a way, they’ve become the friendship that James had with Sirius Black. Now here’s the thing about Ron and his family: they took him in and adopted him as their own.

Never was it a question of whether or not Harry could come to the Burrow. Molly Weasley welcomed him with open arms and loved having Harry around. Much like, we’ve seen, the Potters did with Sirius Black.

But it’s more than what it represents from Harry’s past. It’s more about how Ron is there when no one else is. And yes, they fight and there are times when they should be together but they aren’t. But that’s part of friendship. You fight, you make up, and you’re there when it counts.

Ron was with Harry through it all and constantly made sure that his friend was safe. He wanted to be fighting at his side and it is remarkable how much these two grew together. And all it took was sharing that first car ride on the Hogwarts express.

So we love them both separately but you have to admit, Harry and Ron are definitely better together.
