Game of Thrones season 7: 5 predictions for episode 4

1. Daenerys’ “spoils of war” consist of gold … and Jaime
Did we not promise you we’d talk more about the rumored episode 4 title? Let’s put some preview shots together: Jaime looks at gold in what seems like a wagon. Drogon goes flying. Daenerys is not happy about losing all her allies, which implies that she knows Highgarden has fallen.
Spoilers:
Back in the off-season, photos had it that Daenerys would attack the Lannister army on a dragon. Additional photos suggest that the Dothraki also fight with her. Additionally, credit where credit is due, Winter is Coming, our sister site, had it pegged to episode 4. It’s now about to be episode 4.
Okay, back to non-spoiler territory:
There’s another narrative reason to show Jaime looking at the gold, of course. In the preview, literally accompanies Tycho Nestoris talking to Cersei about gold showing up. Presumably it’s the same gold, although it could also be spoils from Highgarden, and the Tyrells merit a casual mention of how wealthy they are in “The Queen’s Justice” as well. However, the shot of Jaime and Bronn overlooking some transference at the 13-second mark in the preview makes us think it’s the Iron Bank’s … bank. Sorry, we’ll see ourselves out in a second.
Either way, it seems to be that dragons will probably make an effective force to decimate already-tired Lannister soldiers. Who’s to say that Daenerys can’t fly off with some gold and possibly even the Lannister commander while she’s at it? That would certainly turn the tables. Ever since yours truly heard about this episode title, the idea of Daenerys’ wheel has laid heavily in my mind. What better way to roll herself to the apex than to take away two of Cersei’s assets: her money and her brother?
Besides, it would give Jaime a lot of time to start thinking about his choices…
