Consider: a baby carriage.

J.K. Rowling has three children, one of whom was just a baby when she first began writing Harry Potter. Jessica accompanied Rowling to the cafés where she may or may not have written Harry drafts on tables. During their walks, did Rowling ever get hit with a fit of inspiration that had to be exorcised immediately? If she ever was, did she resort to scribbling on Jessica’s baby carriage?

These days, there are dozens of Harry Potter baby things, all of which are so cute. But one thing is missing from this collection (at least, as far as my Googling has revealed): baby carriages. Car seats! Bassinets! Okay, that’s more than one thing, but they’re categorically the same.

Perhaps Rowling created the first (and only) official Harry Potter themed baby carriage when she drafted the first book. There could be whole scenes written into the folds of the sun shield, or even the seat. The handholds could have spell ideas and character names hastily scribbled in permanent marker along the sides.

If such a thing exists, it would surely sell for millions on eBay. The money could go to Lumos, Rowling’s children’s charity. Heck, even if this baby carriage doesn’t currently exist, she could convince the design team at Warner Brothers to create one and then auction it with her signature on it. It would be utterly delightful. Babies dressed in Hogwarts gear with Harry Potter audiobooks playing in the car could fall asleep surrounded by images of quidditch, or magical plants, or their favorite characters. Wonderful.
