We’ve got all the new details on the Fantastic Beasts sequel!
We know you’re all excited about the Fantastic Beasts sequel! So are we! We’ve got all new details on the film, and we’re sharing them with you!
It feels as though we’ve been waiting forever for some news on our much anticipated sequel! But rest assured, we have a few now! We don’t have a set release date yet, but we do know it will be out sometime in November 2018. As for filming, that starts soon! August to be exact! We don’t know the filming location as of yet, but we’re sure it’s going to be beautiful regardless of where it is!
Naturally, we have Eddie Redmayne returning as Newt Scamander. There is no one else who could play the part as well as him! Katherine Waterston will be gracing our screens as Tina Goldstein once again! I couldn’t be more excited to see the relationship between Tina and Newt explored a bit more!
We also have Dan Fogler returning as Jacob Kowalski! The friendship between him and Newt is always a delight to watch. And if we have Jacob, then of course we have to have Queenie! Alison Sudol returning as Queenie Goldstein!
New faces in the Fantastic Beasts cast?
Probably one of the biggest announcements for this film as far as casting goes, we have Jude Law playing a young Albus Dumbledore! These are some pretty big shoes to fill, that’s for sure. But if anyone is capable of doing it, I think it will be Jude Law.
Technically, Zoe Kravitz isn’t new to the world of Fantastic Beasts, but we’re including her in new faces. This is because her character of Leta Lestrange is reportedly going to have a much bigger role in the sequel.
Knowing that Albus Dumbledore would make his appearance in this movie pretty much tells us he is going to be a major part of the plot. But just what kind of part is he going to play? Well, we will get to see Albus and Newt teaming up! They will be getting together in order to go after Grindelwald.

You may be remembering that Grindelwald was revealed at the end of the first Fantastic Beasts and was subsequently captured. Well, naturally, he has escaped and we all know about the history between Grindelwald and Dumbledore. But knowing how it is going to end doesn’t make the viewing any less magical!
