Kenneth Branagh is amazing but what if we directed a Harry Potter movie?

If you have never seen a Kenneth Branagh movie, then you’re surely missing out. He’s an amazing director but what if he had directed a Potter film?

Kenneth Branagh is known for directing beautiful movies where he is usually in it in some capacity. As of lately, he’s taken himself out and focused on the story, but still, it is always clearly a Branagh production.

So as I have found myself watching more and more Kenneth Branagh movies, I thought to myself, what if he had directed a Harry Potter film? My first question was which would I have liked to see. My answer? Definitely Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Simply because Kenneth tends to have more of a theatrical approach to his work.

So seeing a more dramatic story telling of that book would have been incredible. Again, if you haven’t watched a Branagh movie, it is basically over the top yet it somehow works. No matter how dramatic the story is actually meant to be, Branagh’s over the top aspects make it even more entertaining.

After all, he did make Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit into an insanely overdone movie that I myself was enthralled in. So thinking of Branagh creating that amazing maze and going through all the aspects of the Triwizard Tournament would have been incredible to see.

Lucky for us though, they’re still making these movies. So maybe they can get Branagh to come in for one of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movies. Or better yet, let him make a Marauder’s film!
