We all know that Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift haven’t had the best relationship in recent years but according to a new report, Bieber wants to follow in the singer’s lead with a break from the spotlight, much like the one she’s been on in recent months.
Following Bieber’s statement in regard to his decision to cancel the remaining dates of his Purpose World Tour, an insider has explained the reported reason behind the sudden move.
“He was biting off more than he could chew and was over it and decided to cancel the rest of the tour because he’s nearly exhausted,” a source told Hollywood Life on July 24.

Bieber began his tour in March of last year and has continued to tour numerous countries around the world in the year and a half since. Next, the singer was set to resume his tour in Dallas and travel to several football stadiums, including Pasadena’s Rose Bowl and the venues where the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and New England Patriots play.

Although Bieber and Swift have been tense in the past, the insider went on to reveal that he admires her career.
“He needs a break and is looking to take the longest break of his career. He might not be friends with Taylor Swift, but he admires how she can just disappear and give herself time and he is looking to doing that by getting out of the limelight and focusing on himself,” the insider added.
