Today is a very special day because it’s Patty Jenkins’ birthday!

She brought a hero to life and became one of our heroes so today, we celebrate the birthday of the amazing Patty Jenkins! We love her!

I don’t know about you but I love Patty Jenkins. Not only is she an amazing director, but she’s an incredible role model for women who want to get into the entertainment business. And she was the perfect choice to bring Diana to life on the big screen.

So today, we’re celebrating our hero Patty Jenkins! I’ve been lucky enough to ask Patty a question at a question and answer session before and let me tell you: I was in awe. She was so eloquent and answered every question with ease and made you feel as if you were the most important person in her world in that moment.

And let us not forget that this is a big year for Patty as well. She broke records! Jenkins was the first female to direct a superhero movie and said superhero movie is breaking box office records continuously. So, Patty Jenkins is definitely a great one to look up to.

But it’s not just about Patty’s accomplishments that make her amazing. She’s just a genuinely sweet person and that says a lot about her. She doesn’t let her ego get to her head (or at least that’s what it seems like from her interactions with fans and on Twitter) and she makes sure we all know how much she appreciates our support of Wonder Woman.

Patty, I hope you have an wonderful day today. You gave the world the hero they needed and you, in turn, became a hero to so many. You’re brilliant and so your birthday should be no different!
