Man Crush Monday: Jason Momoa is still our sun and stars

Jason Momoa is a god amongst us mere mortals and that is definitely why he is our Man Crush Monday this week. And really, who doesn’t love him?

Listen guys, do I need to explain why Jason Momoa is amazing? I do? Well, first off, you’re missing out if you don’t already love him but let me explain specifically why Jason is our Man Crush Monday this time around.

Here is a little story about why I chose Momoa. So Comic-Con is a bit of a disaster. If you don’t have a game plan or anything goes wrong, it’s a whole disaster. I was supposed to be getting into Hall H at the event and it fell through and we were all angry about it. But we decided to go to try and see the Justice League cast at their signing. Well, about half the convention had the same idea, so it was crazy.

But no matter where you stood, you know who you saw? Jason Momoa. And at one point, we all looked at each other and said, “Is anyone really complaining about it?”

But more than that, his entire time at the Warner Brothers panel was pretty amazing. It started with Chris Hardwick accurately saying that it makes sense that he’s Aquaman since the entire audience was wet. (Gross, Chris, but also not wrong.)

Then, there was this moment when a little boy asked him about whether or not Superman would come back in Justice League.

But don’t worry. It didn’t end with just that. Jason went on to console the kid when he came through the autograph line and it made our hearts soar for our Khal Drogo.

And all this just made us that much more excited about Jason’s turn as Arthur Curry. He’s going to be a pretty amazing Aquaman if you ask me.
