1. Daenerys will turn to King’s Landing herself

She might send her Unsullied to Casterly Rock as planned by Tyrion Lannister, but we think Olenna Tyrell’s little speech about being a dragon and doing what she wants might have resonated with Daenerys Targaryen. With Yara and Ellaria both now in captivity, Dany might decide that it’s safer to go make a strike on King’s Landing with the help of the Tyrell and Dornish armies to also try and get them back.

If she wants to win the hearts of the people, she might as well give them something to be in awe of, right? We don’t think she’ll necessarily have her meeting with Jon and then go straight there in the same episode, but we may see her at least make the decision to go despite Tyrion’s advice to the contrary. Additionally, she doesn’t have to actually burn anything major if she really doesn’t want to be “queen of the ashes.”

Besides, with dragons, she can cover a lot of ground in a very short period of time. If she really wants to just stop off at King’s Landing to prove a point and make that rescue, she can then fly on to the Rock and put her dragons to use there as well.

As the week continues, hopefully HBO will release some Game of Thrones photos that we can use to temper our predictions.
