J.K. Rowling just announced that in honor of the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,  Pottermore will release two new e-books this Fall for the British Library’s London exhibition!

Harry Potter: A History of Magic will be filled with information and artifacts of Hogwarts classes, as told by writers personally familiar with each subject. As written on J.K. Rowling’s website:

"“Readers will be able to pour over ancient spell books, amazing illuminated scrolls that reveal the secret of the Elixir of Life, vials of dragon’s blood, mandrake roots, painted centaurs and a genuine witch’s broomstick, in a book that shows J.K. Rowling’s magical inventions alongside their cultural and historical forebears.”"

This sounds utterly amazing! And this ebook will also allow us to apparate to the London exhibition in what they call “a variety of exciting and innovative ways”.

The second book, “Harry Potter: A Journey Through a History of Magic” is for families to experience together. This book will have activities based on Hogwarts subjects that families can play together!

That’s pretty exciting right? Most of us love reading all about the Harry Potter series so, why not have new books!? And, who knows, maybe some day we’ll even get another movie franchise out of these ones! Fingers crossed!

Next: Daniel Radcliffe is not just a hero in movies but in real life too

Go to J.K. Rowling’s website to find out more of the books’ details, which feel like they were created with total love. Once there, you can also see the beautiful cover art. It is so exciting that we keep receiving more wizarding world writing from our beloved Jo! We can download these books on the exhibition’s opening day, October 20th, 2017.
