Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows turns 10 today!
Everyone has their favorite Harry Potter memories and we’re looking back at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows since the book turns 10 today!
Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and it’s a pretty great day. For me personally, I remember getting the book as if it was yesterday. Every year, my best friends and I would go on vacation with my family and, if there was a new movie, would go to the midnight showing of Harry Potter.
This particular summer, the 7th book was being released on the day we were returning home. So my one best friend and I set it up so the book could be delivered while we were driving home and we’d go in separate rooms and read.
I remember when she got ahead of me and my other best friend started screaming that Fred was dead and I started screaming back for them to shut up and my mom got mad at us all. It’s just a weird little memory but it’s one that I think all Potter fans have.
We grew up with this series, we remember everything about it. A lot of us remember the first time we ever picked up the book or the first time we heard that beautiful theme. It’s all just so magical to us and we don’t want to forget a single thing.
