We’re getting two new Harry Potter books…sort of. They’re textbooks

We always want more Harry Potter in our lives and now we’re getting two new books! But they’re not about Harry and his friends…

The Harry Potter series seems never ending and fans are pretty happy about it. With the addition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to the series, as well as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, we are finally getting more and more Potter news.

But now it seems as if another textbook from the Potter universe. As a matter of fact, we’re going to be getting TWO new books! Buzzfeed reported that as part of an exhibit that J.K Rowling is putting on, she’ll also be releasing two books to go along with it.

Now you’re probably wondering to yourself: why? And, to be fair, it’s a fair question. My question of why is why is it not the Marauders series we all want. Yes these new characters are amazing and they’re extending the universe we know and love but come on, just give me young Remus Lupin and Sirius Black running around with James Potter and Peter Pettigrew.

Stop giving us things that are fine and fun. Give the people what they want! (Or maybe it’s just me, I don’t know. I just want more Sirius Black.) I’m sure, much like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, these books will be great and extend the universe in a fantastic way! I’d just rather we have some more Sirius Black and the Marauders.
