Robb Stark

The death that changed my life as a fan of Game of Thrones is the worst death, to me. When I fell in love with this show, I said that Robb was my favorite character. My friends laughed. I knew his fate and I loved him anyway. Now, I definitely regret this love.

When I started Game of Thrones, this blue eyed boy took my heart and I wished to the high heavens that the showrunners would change their minds. That the Red Wedding would not take my Robb from me. Instead, they made his death ten times more heartbreaking.

They made him watch his wife and unborn child die while he remained helpless and he died defeated and broken. Great watching for a superfan of Robb Stark! But while it was gruesome and probably the most I’ve ever cried while watching a television show, it was necessary.

The Starks are meant to have their lives torn upside down time and time again, it is the way of their story, but still. I am still upset and it’s been quite a while since my lovely Robb Stark has left me. Will I ever get over it? Who knows, but to me, his death is the worst.
