Catelyn Stark

As if the death of Ned Stark wasn’t enough, they also had to take away the backbone of the Stark family. In the Red Wedding, the show took so much from us and honestly, I still haven’t recovered. (We’ll get to what else they took from us later.)

Bu in regards to Catelyn, we lost a woman who stayed by her husband even when he brought home a bastard son. A woman who raised such strong children and taught them to be good. She was absolutely amazing and it was heartbreaking to watch her die.

Here’s the thing about Catelyn, she made mistakes. We all do. But she loved her family and wanted to protect them. So her mistakes came from love and she regretted them because they upset those she cared about most.

Catelyn Stark loved her family and died for them and you cannot tell me any different. Though she was a gruesome death, it was a necessary one. She had to die for the show to grow but still. It hurts to see a strong woman like Catelyn die.

Again, she made mistakes but she did it out of love and that was something truly remarkable to see.
