Game of Thrones red carpet fashion: our favorite looks

Rose Leslie (Ygritte)

She’s not on the show anymore (she took an arrow to the chest in season 4, RIP Ygritte), but luckily Rose Leslie still scored an invite to Wednesday night’s event. Her look on the blue carpet was funky and cool, just like Leslie herself. The mix of a rather traditional high-necked dress with Leslie’s edgy pixie cut is fresh and pretty with a bold twist. The color combination works, too, with the yellow fabric and navy accents bringing out the richness of Leslie’s locks.

We were obviously all bummed when Leslie left the show, but sometimes real life really pulls through like it has in this case. Namely, by bringing Leslie and her former on-screen love Jon Snow/Kit Harington together as a couple outside the Game of Thrones universe. The stark blackness of Harington’s suit is the perfect complement to Leslie’s look on the carpet. They’re basically prestige television #CoupleGoals on-screen and off.

Harington and Leslie are famously quiet about their relationship, though they have appeared on a few red carpets together since Leslie left the show and several news outlets reported the couple planned to move in together in the spring. As Harington explained to Esquire earlier this year:

"“…it’s as much her relationship as it is mine and I can’t speak for both of us. But yeah, we are very, very happy. So that’s what I’ll say about that.”"

We can totally respect that, but we’re glad the pair decided to share their blue carpet style with the world on Wednesday.
