Kit Harington (Jon Snow)

Is that crushed velvet, Jon Snow? How dapper. We shouldn’t be surprised, though. You are the King in the North, after all (at least for now). Harington’s blue carpet choices are a fitting mix of his character’s humble roots and new-found royal status. His combining a laid-back feeling black shirt (with a few buttons undone, which we don’t hate) with a more unique and formal jacket hits just the right tone. Guess he really took the whole “Taking the Black” thing to heart (get it?). It does seem a little heavy, fabric-wise, for California in July. Then again, Jon Snow’s used to The Wall after all, so we’ll let that little detail slide.

After his return from the dead last season, we’re looking forward to what shocking twists Jon Snow has in store for us come Sunday. Now that he and Sansa have retaken Winterfell, his gaze will be shifting north of The Wall to the looming threat of the White Walkers. As we already saw in the trailer, he and a search party seem to be headed north of The Wall, so we’re eager to see what that voyage might yield.

In the meantime, we’re perfectly happy to get our Jon Snow fix via his charming appearances on late night talk shows or strutting the blue carpet with real-life (and former on-screen) love Rose Leslie.
