Klaus Mikaelson – The Originals

Klaus may have started out as the big bad on The Vampire Diaries, but when he made the leap to his own series he became the star of the show in all the right ways. I was ‘shipping Klaus and Caroline long before there ever was such a thing as The Originals, so I loved it so much when we got more of Joseph Morgan.

Of course, Klaus has a strikingly square jaw, rock-hard abs, and a grin that would definitely have you swooning, but he’s also got a lot more going for him. He’s a sweet and protective father, loyal to his family, and kind of the boss of everything. And don’t even get me started on that accent. So dreamy.

As one of the original vampires and a werewolf, Klaus is a unique being. Along with this comes quite a bit of power, but also an inflated sense of importance and a grandiose confidence that can be charming sometimes and really, really grating at other times. Most of the time you want to kiss his vampire face, but other times you are going to want to strangle him.

Since he comes from royalty (so to speak), you can probably forget about asking him to take the trash out or pick up milk on the way home. But he could definitely protect you from all the dangerous evils in the world.
